Now that the game has "made it big" they made the terrible decision to move 99% of gameplay (except for literally 5 daily challenge level) behind a paywall. Previously we were able to play levels & challenges, and I gladly paid for it because they were making the game and geography interesting and accessible to all. But they have forgotten their roots - gone down the dark hole of corporate greed. Thinking of their bottom line above all else. It's a shame. Bye Geoguessr, it's been real.

Gameplay in itself is fun; you're placed in street view on someplace on the world, guess the location on the map. The company has grossly made every feature put behind a pay wall. Not a pay once, a subscription. It's understandable things must be maintained through money. However, this is done in the grossest way possible. You must pay a subscription to play literally any other game mode. Even the most basic mode you may only play 5 times free, before you run out of tickets.

Unplayable. it won't send me the verification code to my email via the app (although I can from browser) to log in. I want to try and play with my friends but it's literally unplayable. very disappointed and very disappointing. Really discouraging bc I will likely be a paid user at some point. with that said I'm sure the "pay us" features work without hiccup!!
